Friendship Circle,
Skaalen's memory care unit,
provides a nurturing
environment for up to 32
Alzheimer's patients with
special needs. Our medical
staff of specially trained nurses,
nursing assistants, social
worker and program
coordinator work to provide innovative programming especially designed for those
with memory impairment.
A 2,000 square-foot Friendship Walk, an indoor circular walkway with windows and bench seating, creates a secure space where residents can walk and wander freely. The walkway encloses a spacious outdoor courtyard with paved paths, trees and flowers where residents can enjoy gardening, nature and outdoor recreation in a secure environment.
