Skaalen's Rehab Center is a spacious and inviting area offering in-patient and out- patient physical, occupational and speech/language therapy.
Our focus is on maximizing skills and physical abilities to allow for return to a more independent lifestyle. Rehabilitation is a multidisciplinary effort that includes the client, their family, nursing, therapy, dietary, social services and activities. Therapy programs are tailored to the intensity appropriate for a client's condition and medical needs. Skaalen Rehabilitation services can be billed to Medicare, Medical Assistance or private insurance plans directly.
Our comprehensive program can meet the varied needs of older adults, from wanting to remain active and independent to those nearing the end of life.
Our 6500 square foot facility includes a bright, airy treatment gym, private treatment rooms, a conference room, splinting area, and adaptive bathroom, kitchen and laundry areas to develop independent living skills.
We offer therapy treatments for fractures, stroke, joint replacements, spinal surgeries, arthritis, pulmonary difficulties, Parkinson's disease, cardiac difficulties, dementias, general disabilities or post-surgical weakness, swallowing or feeding difficulties, ALS, head injuries and various other needs.

Our well-trained staff members have therapy degrees, health and fitness specialist certification and years of experience working with all types of injuries and post- surgery needs, specifically working with geriatrics. Through continuing education, they stay up-to-date on cutting edge technology and programming.
We provide complete home safety assessments with clients prior to discharge and will also arrange for or provide information for special equipment needs.

Our Rehabilitation Suites:
For those residents who are coming to Skaalen for a short-term rehab stay, we offer our rehab suites. The rehab suites are located just around the corner from our state-of-the-art rehabilitation and wellness center and have been designed to offer special amenities for those who are planning on a short-term stay.
Each private suite offers:
